Privacy Policy
Nothing leaves your watch.

Try has no account, no server, and makes no network requests. Your training never leaves your devices.
There is nothing for us to collect, because there is nowhere for it to go.
What Try stores, and where
| What | Where it lives | Who can see it |
|---|---|---|
| Your race date and training plan | On your Apple Watch | You |
| Sessions you complete | On your Apple Watch, and in Apple Health | You |
| A copy of the above, for the iPhone app | On your iPhone | You |
| Heart rate, distance, calories, route | Apple Health, on your devices | You |
Try writes completed workouts to Apple Health so they count toward your Activity rings. Apple Health is your own store on your own device, governed by Apple's privacy terms and your Health permissions — not by us.
The iPhone app receives a copy of your training from the watch over WatchConnectivity, which is Apple's device-to-device transport. It does not pass through us or through anyone else.
What Try does not do
- No analytics. No usage tracking, no crash reporting, no telemetry of any kind.
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
- No accounts, no sign-in, no email address.
- No selling or sharing. We have no data to sell or share.
- No third-party SDKs. Try uses Apple frameworks only.
- Health data is never used for anything but coaching you. It is never used for advertising, marketing, or data mining, and it is never disclosed to a third party.
Location
On an outdoor run or ride, Try records your route so your workout shows the distance and pace you covered. Location is used only while a session is running, and only for outdoor sessions — never for a pool swim and never in the background outside a workout.
The route is written to Apple Health alongside the workout. It is not sent anywhere else. Declining location permission costs you the map and nothing else: the session still runs, and it still counts.
Health data
Try asks to read your heart rate, active energy, and distance during a workout, and to write completed workouts to Apple Health. You can review or revoke any of this at any time in the Watch app under Privacy → Health, or in the Health app on iPhone under Sharing → Apps.
Revoking access does not stop Try working. The app is designed to coach you without any of it.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes everything Try stored: your plan, your completed sessions, and the copy on your iPhone.
Workouts already written to Apple Health belong to Apple Health, and stay there until you delete them from the Health app. That is deliberate — your training history should not disappear because you removed one app.
Children
Try is not directed at children and asks for no personal information from anyone.
Health disclaimer
Try is a training tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or give medical advice. It asks a short pre-participation health screening before building you a plan, and if you flag anything it will point you at a clinician — that is a referral, not an assessment.
Talk to a doctor before starting a training programme, especially if you have a heart condition, chest pain, dizziness, or an injury that changes how you move.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the date at the top changes with it. If Try ever gains a feature that sends data anywhere — an account, a sync service, a backup — this policy will say so before that feature ships.
